AI and Technology Transformation Solutions Firm UST announced a strategic investment in Kaynes Semican, an Indian semiconductor manufacturer, an Indian semiconductor manufacturing facility in Gujarat. The UST said in a statement on Monday (September 29, 2026), “It will be an OSAT (outsourced semiconductor assembly and test) facility, which is coming to Sanand.”
“This ambitious partnership between UST and Kaynes Semicon will help shape the future of semiconductor manufacturing in India. Along with this, our two great companies will use the strength of the Indian market and build a combined foundation for the country to become a prominent player in the global semiconductor industry,” said Krishna Sudhendra, the chief executive officer, said.
“Our partnership with the UST brings together world -class manufacturing and digital engineering expertise. This Kaynes is able to provide an advanced OSAT solution to Kaynes SemiConter, strengthening the semi -contor ecosystem,” said Raghu Paneikar, Kaynes Semic Private Limited.
According to the release, the investment system lays the foundation of greater cooperation between the two firms as they work together to provide electricity to the next era of electronics and electric vehicles (EVS), renewable and consumer technology.
“The UST appearance and existing semiconductor client base made it a valuable partner for Kaynes Semican, causing opportunities for new customers to take advantage of the benefits of Indian assembly and testing,” the UST said.
“The partnership will also take advantage of the UST’s digital engineering, improving the AI-operated process, and real-time data analysis, which are all necessary to avoid scale, reliability and hidden costs,” it further said.
