India’s Software Technology Park (STPI) and the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA) have signed a memorandum (MoU) on Friday (July 11, 2025) to collaborate on capacity building, advocacy, awareness, as well as research and publication.
According to agreements, STPI and IICA will work in partnership to create a skilled, globally competitive technical workforce.
The MoU focused on promoting interdisciplinary learning and idea leadership in various domains, including STPI, including corporate administration, startup funding, law, economics, finance and management.
STPI Director General Shri Arvind Kumar said, “Together, STPI and IICA, we aim to promote ecosystem prepared for a future that not only fuel innovation, but also makes an informed, skilled and world -level competitive technical workforce.”
“Under the agreement, STPI and IICA will jointly conduct structured training programs, workshops and seminars with the aim of increasing capacity in stakeholders in technology and corporate ecosystems,” STPI said.
The agency said, “Cooperation will also provide the facility of national and international advocacy initiative through seminars, conferences and roadshow, to confuse policy makers, academics, corporates, sociologists and financial institutions,” the agency said.
Additionally, both institutions are expected to cooperate in research and publication initiatives, including policy letters, research studies and regional analysis, to inform and guide India’s digital and entrepreneurship trajectory.
The MoU was exchanged between Arvind Kumar, Director General, STPI, and Dnyaneshwar Kumar Singh, Director General and CEO, IIA in the presence of Union Minister and Corporate Affairs for Central and Corporate Affairs. Nirmala Sitarman and Sangma Chief Minister of Sangma and IICA North East Conclave of Konrad were held at IIM Shillong, Meghalaya on Friday (July 11, 2025) during 2025.
According to STPI Communication, this strategic partnership aligns with ongoing efforts to promote STPI’s research-mechanized development and a knowledge-based innovation ecosystem in India.
As India moves towards becoming a global leader in innovation, STPI said it is committed to using emerging technologies to run the next wave of digital change, such as artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, Blockchain and quantum computing.
