Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) has announced that Priya Nair, currently the Chairman, Beauty and Well-Being, Unilever, will be appointed as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, HUL, effectively from August 1, 2025. She will be the first female CEO and MD of FMCG Major.
She will also join the HUL Board, under the necessary approval, and will remain a member of the Executive of the Unilever Leadership.
Rohit Jawa will step on 31 July 2025 as CEOs and MDs to pursue the next chapter in his personal and professional journey, the company said in a filing.
Ms. Nair joined HUL in 1995 and played several sales and marketing roles in home care, beauty and welfare and personal care businesses. His contribution inspired him to become an executive director, home care, HUL between 2014 and 2020, after that, Executive Director, Beauty and Personal Care, HUL from 2020 to 2022,
Subsequently, she became a global Chief Marketing Officer, Beauty and Welling in Unilever.
Mr. Java took over as CEO and MD of HUL in 2023. During its two -year term, the company distributed the volume -led competitive development.
He introduced the ‘Aspire’ strategy, running a business to replace portfolio and channels towards high-development demands.
