Software Services firm Cognizant Technology Solutions will invest (15.82 billion ($ 182.76 million) to create a new campus in South Indian city of Vishwakapatnam, which will build around 8,000 jobs, the state government announced on Friday (20 June 2025).

This step aligns with the strategy of the cognizant to customize real estate costs. In May 2023, Chief Executive Officer Ravi Kumar S said that the company would abandon 11 million square foot office space globally, mainly in India’s largest cities, Tier -2 investing in Indian cities.

Globally, IT companies, including India’s $ 283 billion sectors, are taking cost cuts such as mudification of real estate assets and the uncertainty of demand is delayed by wages.

Last month, Teaneck, New Jersey-based company increased its annual revenue forecast and defeated the results of the first quarter operated by the increasing demand for AI-operated IT services.

Cognizant is expected to have 2025 annual revenue between $ 20.5 billion and $ 21.0 billion, while $ 20.80 billion compared to the previous approach to the point of $ 20.30 billion.
