“Global Travel Tech platform Oyo has started discussing with bankers for a new attempt in IPO (initial public offering), targeting a list in the last quarter of the current financial year,” sources said.
Initial discussion with investment banks has indicated a possible evaluation range of $ 6-7 billion for public offer.
The company started informal discussion last month and is now calling for the pitches, according to a person familiar with Vikas.
“The company is engaged with both Indian and international banking institutions, with a plan to potentially filing DRHP documents between August-septure this year. It is to decide whether to file FY25 with financial results or to wait for the Q1 FY26 financial results and is ready to file,” sources said. PTI.
An important round of discussion with representatives of SoftBank, with the company’s board and its lead shareholder, is scheduled for June.
“The board and all shareholders, including softbanks, are actively eager to file an IPO application for the company in the near future, which is due to the Swift business turnaround with an estimated ₹ 620 crore net profit in FY25,” said a source close to development.
After the pre -filed by Oyo, the IPO push comes from a renewed and renovated his draft paper with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) in 2021, tried to raise ₹ 8,430 crore through a public offer.
The company finally withdraws those papers in May 2024.
In recent times, Oyo has strengthened its global operation by strengthening its presence in major markets including India, America, Europe and Southeast Asia.
Sources indicated that the company’s better financial matrix and operational efficiency renewed the trust of investors, making public the new attempt in public.
