Airtel’s network was down in many areas in Tamil Nadu on Tuesday (May 13, 2025), and was not restored till 11 am.
Consumers were not able to call each other. However, mobile data services were working.
Consumers of Madurai and Coimbatore took the X and posted the message saying that their network was below. Consumers also complained that they could not meet through customer service and started posting on X using #AIRTELE_Down.
Airtel’s public relations team did not give details on what exactly happened.
