Equity benchmark Indices Sensx and Nifty ended the flat in a highly unstable trade on Wednesday (April 30, 2025), which was between the two days of rally between the growing concern over jelly political stresses and sales in Bajaj Judwaan.
Continuous foreign fund flow, however, banned the decline in markets.
The 30-Sare BSE benchmark gauge fell by 46.14 points or 0.06%, settling at 80,242.24. During the day, it hit the high of 80,525.61 and a low of 79,879.15, with 646.46 points.
The NSE Nifty decreased at 1.75 points or 0.01% at 24,334.20.
From sensex firms, Bajaj Finserv fell over 5%, while Bajaj Finance gave a tank to about 5% each.
Bajaj Finserv Limited (BFL) increased the net profit of 14% in the fourth quarter ended on Tuesday (April 29, 2025) in the fourth quarter ended March 2025.
Meanwhile, NBFC firm Bajaj Finance Tuesday (April 29, 2025) increased the standalone net profit by 16% in the March 2025 quarter to ₹ 3,940 crore.
Tata Motors, State Bank of India, UltraTech Cement, Tata Consultancy Services, Tata Steel and Asian Paints were among other lagards from 30-share packs.
Maruti, Bharti Airtel, Power Grid, Hindustan Unilever and HDFC Bank were among the beneficiaries.
“The broad market performed well in this month, inspired by low tariff risks, a potential American-India trade deal and strong FII flow. However, the growing tension between India and Pakistan and Pakistan and MUmed Q4 results is being overshadowed. The opportunity,” Vinod Nair, Head of Research, Geologet Investment Limited, said.
In the Asian markets, South Korea’s Kospi Index and Shanghai SSE composite decreased, while Hong Seng in Tokyo’s Nikkei 225 and Hong Kong ended up. Markets were quoting high in Europe. The US markets ended in a positive field on Tuesday (April 29, 2025).

Global Oil Benchmark Brent crude declined by 0.92% to $ 63.66 per barrel.
The BSE benchmark climbed 70.01 points or 0.09% to settle on 80,288.38 on Tuesday (April 29, 2025). The Nifty ended 7.45 points or from 0.03% to 24,335.95.
Equity markets will be closed on Thursday (May 1, 2025) for ‘Maharashtra Day’.
