The Maldives -based atmosphere core, a hotel management company announced a plan to expand in India and Indian Ocean region by offering unique experiences and differentiated products to couples and guests, stating that it is an interview co -founder and managing director Salil Panigrahi.
He said that an All-Women’s Manjade Hotel will soon be open in Bhopal, which will soon be open to start its Indian operations for the company.
He said, “We were the first one in Asia, who were only operating all the sharp couples run by women managed by women in Maldives, which is a big success. And we are trying to achieve that success story for India. We are opening a hotel in Bhopal, which will only be managed by women,” he said.
The company starting in 2014 today offers 9% of the total hotel inventory in Maldives, which begins with four to five stars luxury and Uber luxury resort properties.
Its brands include OWU colors, ozen collections and atmosphere hotels and resorts. The company today operates 9 properties in Maldives.
“We have signed some hotels in India. We should open 2 to 3 hotels here in the next few years. In the next 5 years, I would say that at least we will run 15 to 20 hotels and resorts in India,” he said.
“But in India, as we are more of an experienced hotel brand, we will focus less on cities. We will be in holiday cities like Bangalore, holiday cities and sightseeing will focus more, as we are with nature,” he said.
The company is looking at North, Northeast India for development. A hotel is coming to Kolkata and it is also watching Goa.
He said, “Most of our hotels in India will be experienced hotels. Let’s do more leisure, more experienced. We will not do business hotels,” they insisted.
He said that the company is increasing its footprint for wildlife nature in the Middle East and Africa. It has called for a property in Italy that is an old monastery that has been converted into a heritage hotel.
The company is looking at Nepal and Bhutan markets, he said.
The company will soon have a portfolio of 12 to 13 hotels in Maldives and one will be one in Sri Lanka, Mr. Panegrahi said.
