Commercial Tax inspector fixed monthly bribe for illegal sale of pan masala in Bengaluru

Officials of Bangalore district Lokayukta caught a commercial tax inspector and his colleague with a red hand, while allegedly taking the the theing 2 million bribes from the representative of the Pan Masala Company in Delhi for an official side.

On 24 April, Nijanandamurti was given his colleague, Manoj M. After the Prevention of Corruption Act was arrested, it was allegedly arrested by the inspector taking a bribe near a hotel in Nagrabhavi.

Based on the information given by him, Nijanandamurti was arrested by Lokayukta officials, and later raided his house.

According to officials of the accused, Lokayukta, the monthly rate of bribery was fixed to allow the Pan Masala Company consignments in Bangalore illegally in Bengaluru in Delhi.
