Nifty rises 1.92% after Trump pauses tariffs

US President Donald Trump shut down the benchmark Nifty to 22,828.55, two days after announcing a stagnation on mutual tariffs to 22,828.55.

All sectors were in green, the Nifty metal increased 4% and 0.69% with the Nifty. Hindalco, JSW Steel and Tata Steel increased the highest in Nifty 50. TCS, Apollo Hospital and Asian Paints were red within the benchmark index.

“After shifting to a range-bound action with negative bias on Wednesday, the Nifty saw an excellent bounce on Friday and closed with a huge profit of 429 points. It opened at a sharp upside down interval of 297 points and ran into the boundary disrupted action in the early part of the session and better part of the session.

“If 23,000/75,800 is violated, it can push the market towards 23,200/76,400. Conversely, if it falls below 22,500/74,200, the market spirit can change negatively, and traders can like to get out of their long positions,” Amol Athawale, VP-Technical Reserach, Kotak, Said in his note.
