Mobile Games giant Scopaly paid $ 3.5 billion to acquire the NIANTIC game unit, including the studio behind Pokémon Go, the companies announced on Tuesday.

The purchase will now include Pokémon Go, Pickmin Bloom and Monster Hunter to stabilize a scopaly including the popular mobile title Monopoli Go.

San Francisco-based NIANTIC plans to spin its geopolitical artificial intelligence business in a new company led by founder and chief executive John Henke.

Niatic is known for mobile games that combine real world mapping and exploration with challenges or achievements with locations detected by smartphones.

According to the company, more than 100 million people play NIANTIC games.

“We exit as a small team of Google with a bold vision: to use technology to overlay the world with rich digital experiences,” Ninetic said about separating from the Internet giant in late 2015.

“Our goal: To motivate people to detect their surroundings and promote real -world connections, especially at a time when relationships were becoming increasingly digital.”

The rapid advance of NIANTIC AI sees as an opportunity to install its geophysical technology to work in consumer and business applications along with sports.

The new company, which is called niatic spatial, is developing a model to enable people and machines to understand and navigate the real world.

This will include some of its enhanced reality games, including the Ingresh Prime, and an investor in Scopaly Enterprise, which is according to the NIANTIC.

The Scopaly game includes monopoly Go, Marvel Strike Force and Star Track Fleet Command.
