Equity benchmark indices sense and Nifty ended on a flat note in a shortage business on Tuesday (March 11, 2025) as investors preferred to stay on the sideline waiting for the trigger ahead of the macroeconomic data release.
30-Syre BSE Sensex fell at 12.85 points or 0.02% to 74,102.32. During the day, it declined by 451.57 points or 0.61% to hit a low of 73,663.60.
However, the broad index Nifty rose 37.60 points or 0.17% to close at 22,497.90. In the session, the benchmark advanced up to 61.8 points or 0.27% to hit a high of 22,522.10.

On the other hand, Sun Pharmaceuticals, ICICI Bank, Bharti Airtel, HCL Technologies, Maruti Suzuki India, Larsen & Toubro, Reliance Industries, Kotak Mahindra Bank and Titan Gainers were there.
“Inspired by concerns over the economic downturn caused by the ongoing trade war, despite significant sales in the US and other Asian markets, the domestic market is indicating a gradual recovery.
Vinod Nair, head of the research of Geojit Financial Services, said, “After recent reforms, its relatively low instability can be attributed to a moderation in evaluation, as well as a decline in crude oil prices, a dollar index, and with supporting factors such as rebound rebounds.”
