According to the order of the Ministry of Personnel, Economic Affairs Secretary Ajay Seth was given additional charge of the post of Secretary, Revenue Department on Saturday (March 1, 2025).
On 27 February, the vacancy was required after the appointment of Revenue Secretary Tuhin Kanta Pandey as the Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).
Mr. Pandey took charge as the head of the Capital Market Regulators in Mumbai on Saturday (March 1, 2025).
The competent authority has approved the assignment of the additional fee to the Secretary of the Revenue Department, Ajay Seth, the secretary of the Department of Economic Affairs till the appointment of a regular manner, the order said.
