Cybersecurity company CloudSEK on Tuesday (January 13, 2026) said it has raised $10 million (about Rs 90 crore) from Connecticut Innovations, the strategic venture capital arm of the state of Connecticut.
Rahul Sasi, Co-Founder and CEO, CloudSEK, said the investment not only enhances the company’s global trajectory, but also symbolizes the rise of Indian cybersecurity innovation on the world stage.
“We have raised $10 million from Connecticut Innovations, the venture capital arm of the state of Connecticut. Becoming the first Indian-origin cybersecurity company to receive backing from a US state fund is a milestone for CloudSEEK as well as the entire Indian cybersecurity ecosystem,” Mr. Sasi said.
The predictive cyber threat intelligence firm has raised funding at an enterprise valuation of approximately $200 million. With this round, the company has raised approximately $39 million to date.
“We will use the new funds raised from Connecticut Innovations to create jobs in the US and expand our presence there. We have a team of 5 people in the US, which we will expand to 15 by March, and to about 20 people over the next 12-18 months. These jobs are very high paying and for very high level talent,” Mr Sassi said.
He said the company has 20 customers in the US and expects to have 200 customers in the next 12 months.
